The Board Games Club involves weekly after-school modern board game sessions facilitated by skilled board game guides. Sessions are 90 minutes, cost R400 for four sessions and take place at schools/venues across Cape Town, depending on interest.
Modern board games, also known as Designer or Euro-style games, involve so much more than the role of a dice. A variety of themes, complex mechanics and high levels of information processing and communication required by modern board games, make it beneficial for players in multiple ways. Modern board games are not only fun and engaging, but also create a safe environment in which players develop important social, emotional and cognitive skills.
