Swim4life is situated in Claremont, Cape Town. Swim4life offers swimming lessons for babies! Water-based exercise for babies has been shown to offer multiple benefits, including strengthened cardiorespiratory function, improved appetite and more stable sleeping patterns. Our Swim4life lessons for babies provide a great opportunity for you and your child to share this enjoyable and rewarding experience. Most babies take to the water with ease. Learning confidence in the water helps to prepare them to be good swimmers later in life. We provide classes for up to a maximum of five baby-parent couples per class. Each class lasts 30 minutes and takes place in a pool with an ambient temperature of at least 30°C. Through a series of planned activities we’ll help you and your child feel comfortable together in the water. This provides a foundation for further swimming instruction as your child grows older.
